Path to permanent
Not directly. Time on V visas does NOT count toward the 5 years required for R (Resident) visa. To pursue permanent residency, transition to an M-category visa.

Application steps

    Create account at https://www.cancilleria.gov.co/tramites_servicios/visa.

    You have 30 days to provide additional documents if requested.
