- Minimum business investment

- Minimum technology or innovation investment

- Minimum real estate investment
BRL 700,000 (approx USD 140,000) in North or Northeast; BRL 1,000,000 (approx USD 200,000) elsewhere
- Proof of legal source of funds
- Registration with the Banco Central do Brasil
- Valid passport

Application steps
- Register the investment with the Banco Central
Initial capital declaration.
- Submit the application to the Ministry of Justice
Request prior residence authorization.
- Apply at the Brazilian consulate abroad
Request VITEM IX once authorization is granted.
- Enter Brazil and register with the Federal Police within 90 days
Receive the CRNM card.
